Not much going on here at the center. Ms. Cindy has been out sick. Ms. Kathy went on vacation to the Holy Land. So we have been playing points derby, dominoes and working on the puzzle table. Weather is getting warmer, soon we can power walk outside. So ready for some sunshine!...

Too cold to do much of anything this week! Basketball game Monday and Dominoes. Puzzle table, brain teasers and card games on Tuesday. On Wednesday, arts and crafts, painting 3 blind mice in watercolor. We have a few good artists over here. Then there is me, I can roll paint on a wall...

Contrary to popular belief, I haven't been kidnapped by a gang of MAGA hat wearers with more teeth that IQ points. It turns out that the computers that have all come to love and depend on sometimes rebels against us. I have been writing and emailing columns to the paper, but for some reason that we haven't been able to figure out, my computer and the ones at the paper have stopped communicating with each other...

Red Hats trip to Jonesboro for lunch and shopping. Supper club this month was at KFC and on Monday we took a trip to Ponchos for lunch and a little shopping in West Memphis. We are on the go a lot! Wii bowling tournament met last week and a Super Bowl party will be at the end of the month. We may be old here at the center but we still got game. Dominoes, tic tac toss, checkers, etc...

Council meeting, Ms. Kathy went over the December calendar, it's going to be a busy month. Ms. Cindy told us about her trip down Interstate 555 to Marked Tree. She had a blow-out and big trucks almost ran her off the road. Thank you to the nice young man for helping to get her home...

We have had a very busy month here at the center. Senior Expo was the first week of November. We also took a trip to Poncho's and went to the Fall Festival in Harrisburg. The second week of November we had beauty school, jamming with Jerry, puzzle club and dominoes. The fourth week of November we had a penny auction, ball games, arts and crafts, birthdays for all November honorees and Thanksgiving...

We've been busy here the last two weeks. Weather has been great for power walks or just sitting on the front porch in our rocking chairs. We had council meeting Monday and trip to the USA store in Pocahontas. Some of us did some Christmas shopping. Tuesday we played dominoes, had puzzle club and exercised. Wednesday was newspaper day and arts and crafts. Thursday was a fun time with bingo and we had a ball game. Friday we did bargain hunt and more ball games...

We seniors have been "on the go" for the last two weeks. Trip to Poncho's, red hat shopping trip, NEA Fair for senior day and bingo at Three Rivers at Marked Tree. We do get around. Monday- exercise, points derby and supper club at KFC in Jonesboro with 15 seniors...

The center was closed Monday for Labor Day but Tuesday saw exercise, a ball game and lots of fun. Wednesday the group exercised played dominoes and took their annual trip to Wynne for the annual fishing rodeo. Thursday we played bingo, exercised and had a bean bag basketball game. Friday was our council meeting. September is going to be a very busy month at the center...

Those at the Trumann Senior Citizens Center had a fun filled week of playing various game. On Monday, we played a couple of bean bag basketball games. We also celebrated National Dog Day!
