A vacancy was declared on the Poinsett County Quorum Court this past Monday night during the court’s monthly meeting. The vacancy was for the seat for District 1 that was held by the late Randy Jones of Harrisburg. Poinsett County Judge J.C. Two students expelled

The Trumann School Board, on the recommendation of Superintendent Brandie Williams, expelled two students during their meeting earlier this month. The first expulsion had no student or parent present as the second expulsion did have those present.
