Civil rights lawsuit filed against Trumann Schools

The Trumann School Board was given a civil rights lawsuit this past Thursday and will have seven days respond to allegations that a wheelchair-bound child was severely injured. As of Friday afternoon, school district attorney Rebecca Worsham she had not been informed of the lawsuit as of Friday. 88-year-old Trumann woman dies in auto accident

A Trumann woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash this past Monday in Craighead County according to the Arkansas State Police. The crash happened at 8:38 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 463 South and Parker Road in Jonesboro.
