A Trumann Elementary School teacher will not be facing any criminal charges for allowing her classroom to get out of control on January 25 at Trumann Elementary School. Trumann School Board accepts teacher resignation

The Trumann School Board accepted the resignation of Dana Bingham at the end of the 2023-2024 school year during their meeting that was held on January 9. During new business, the board approved to adopt the use of all written and purchased curriculum as presented and as currently in use in K-12 classrooms (Arkansas Accreditation 1.A.1) before getting paper shared reports from the Social Work Support Team, Larry Vinson and Julie Phelan, about information regarding attendance, court support for students, foster care, McKinney-Vento, mental health, and backpack program (related services for all areas), from Ashten Black, CFO/Food Service Director with an overview of Food Service programs, from Jason Grubb giving an update on facility projects and transportation department and taking any questions/comments concerning facilities/maintenance/transportation in the district, and from Assistant Superintendent Cody Wallis giving an overview of the athletic programs.. ...
