Trumann man dies of natural causes in Craighead Co. Detention Center

Timothy Wade Williams, 60, of Trumann died of natural causes at the Craighead County Detention Center. A medical examiner with the Arkansas Crime Lab in Little Rock said the cause of death was acute peritonitis. Williams collapsed in the shower at the jail on May 17. The jailer was contacted by another inmate and Williams was helped to his feet and taken by wheelchair to the jail’s medical facility.
