Trumann council approves condemnation of houses

Seven of the eight homes on the condemnation list were approved by the Trumann City Council at their regular meeting held September 12. The eighth house was tabled for 60 days to give the new owner time to make repairs to the house. Public hearing held on new fire station

Trumann Fire Chief Revis Kemper and City Engineer Wayne Menley gave a short update and answered questions from the public in a meeting held September 13 at the Judicial Complex. Menley told those attending that they have made the application to apply for the loan. He also said this public meeting was mandatory within 30 days of applying for the loan.
