Trumann Fire Department gets new piece of training equipment.

The city of Trumann is still busy cleaning up debris from last December's tornado. They have reached out to Governor Asa Hutchinson for assistance. The Harrisburg School Board met in regular session Monday, May 13 in the Central Office Board Room. Board president Ashley Rowton called the meeting to order with all school board members present for the meeting. The board hired Caleb Spears for the head baseball coach position. Spears will also teach 7-12 Science, and be an assistant football coach. Spears comes to Harrisburg after being at Newport School District this past school year...

EPC Senior High and Junior High cheerleaders receive All-American honors.

Zoe Constant of EPC will play in High School All-Star game this coming weekend.

EPC's Natalie Dunman followed up her all-state sophomore softball season with another all-state selection following her junior season. Dunman was a fixture in the middle of the lineup and played solid defense in right field to help the Lady Warriors to 32-3 season record and a runner-up finish in the Class 2A State Tournament. ...

Edward Lee Rowlett, Sr. of Trumann departed from this life June 16, 2022 at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro, he was 80 years old. Edward was born July 29, 1941 and was one of nine children born to Ernest Elmer and Ida Katherine Rowlett. He was a lifetime resident of Trumann, Arkansas, as well as a retired bricklayer, after a career of over 40 years...
