Carter, Hutchison headed for run-off for judge's seat

J.C. Carter (661 votes) of Marked Tree and John K. Hutchison (860 votes) of Harrisburg garnered the most votes this past Tuesday in race for the Poinsett County Judge. Neither candidate received 50% of the vote so their will be a run-off election on June 21. Early voting begins June 14. The winner will face Independent candidate Robert Hervey, Jr in November.
