Trumann man arrested

Preston Wayne Carter of Trumann was arrested this past Wednesday on suspicion of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of meth or cocaine less than two grams, possession of marijuana with purpose to deliver, rape and aggravated assault on a family member. Poinsett schools report no COVID-19 cases

As of Monday, November 29, all four school districts in Poinsett County, East Poinsett County, Harrisburg, Marked Tree and Trumann, reported to the Arkansas Department of Health that they have no active cases in their respective schools. There were no reports of quarantines at any of the schools as well...
