Trumann (6-2, 4-1) traveled to Blytheville (2-6, 2-3) this past Friday and came away with a 43-27 wino over the Chickasaws. Eli Evett led the Wildcats with 137 yards on 16 carries with four touchdowns as Rian King added 64 yards on 12 carries with two touchdowns. Murphy Williams had 12 carries for 71 yards and was five of eight passing with 57 yards. The Wildcats have a big 4A-3 conference game this coming Friday at Rivercrest visits RMC Stadium...

Local woman dies in one-vehicle crash

Nealie Shaw Faulkner, 20, of Weiner was killed this past Thursday in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 214. Faulkner was a passenger in a F-150 truck driven by Porter Hutchinson. Driving eastbound, Hutchinson crossed the westbound lane and skidded along the north shoulder before hitting a tree. The truck came to rest in a field north of the highway. Faulkner was pronounced dead at the scene...
