After a scoreless first quarter, Trumann outscored Highland 34-8 over the next three quarters to pick up their first conference win this past Friday at RMC Stadium. Highland took the opening kickoff and melted seven minutes off the clock driving to the Wildcats’ 11-yard line before turning the ball over on downs with five minutes left. While I’m not sure we’ll get to trick or treat on Halloween night due to COVID-19, we can still decorate around the house in celebration of fall and cooler temperatures. Choosing a pumpkin for Halloween or decoration is easy. Just follow a few simple rules: Look for a deep orange pumpkin that is evenly colored, look for a pumpkin that is appealing to the eye, choose one that is the right size for the application, look for a shape that appeals to you, if it is flat on one side you may be able to use it in your design, make sure that the pumpkin is free from soft spots, cuts, bruises, or punctures, the flesh should feel hard, and not push in easily (this could lead to rotting) and make sure that about three inches of stem is still attached.. ...

Willie Wood, 78, of Harrisburg was killed this past Tuesday when he collided head-on with a Mack CH6 dump truck.
