As of 8:10 a.m. there are now 3,069 positive tests for COVID-19 in the state of Arkansas. The state has tested 40,629 with 37,560 being negative. There have been 1,053 recoveries with 51 deaths. HHS awards over $45 million in additional Coronavirus Assistance

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded additional federal funds to hospitals and health care providers across Arkansas to help facilitate the coronavirus response in our communities. Governor Asa Hutchinson and Dr. Nate Smith, secretary of the Arkansas Department of Health, announced Monday that Arkansas has reached more than 3,100 positive COVID-19 cases, with 52 deaths statewide. There are 94 new cases (20 in Cummins Unit), 3,111cases statewide, 1,146 recoveries, 104 hospitalizations, 20 on ventilators, 52 deaths and 159 recoveries in last 24 hours.
