Gaven Guy led the Wildcats' offense with 14 carries for 65 yards as Ben Woodruff had 10 carries for 41 yards and Noah Milligan finished with nine carries for 41 yards. Governor Asa Hutchinson presented $67,500 to the City of Marked Tree (Poinsett County) from Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) Rural Services Division at a ceremony held October 24 at the Arkansas State Capitol. In total, some $1.35 million was awarded to 49 communities throughout Arkansas. Marked Tree will receive funding to convert the Marked Tree Armory building into a community center...

Goodfellows, Christmas For Kids sign-up set for Nov. 10 The Jonesboro Jaycees will be at the Trumann Fire Department on Sunday, November 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to sign people up for our Goodfellows and Christmas For Kids Program. The Goodfellows is a program that provides a weeks worth of food and the Christmas For Kids provides a toy to children under 12.
