Warriors spoil Cougar homecoming

The EPC (3-1, 1-0) football team visited Rector Friday night as both squads began 2A-3 conference play. Spoiling the mood for the Cougars' homecoming, the Warriors erased a 10-point fourth quarter deficit en route to a 30-26 win. Winning the pregame coin toss, the Warriors got the football first and put together a strong drive, kept alive by a fourth down scramble by quarterback Preston Rains. ...

East Poinsett County School Board held their monthly meeting in Lepanto this past Thursday, September 26. The meeting was brief and saw the school board discuss a new bus purchase and make several statements of assurance. The meeting began with the approval of minutes from the, August 12, meeting.
