Preston Rains had a big night for EPC throwing four touchdowns as the Warriors opened the 2019 season with a 43-12 win on the road in Manila. Harrisburg won their season opener 44-6 over Cross County in a game played at Jonesboro High School due to the Hornets' field still being in construction. The Poinsett County Election Commission met this past Monday to approve the ballots for the upcoming Harrisburg School Board election on November 5 and to discuss the purchase of the new voting equipment.
