Marked Tree's Israel Malone capped off his track season with a second place in the high jump at the Class 2A state track meet and with his selection to the Class 2A all-state track team. Malone's jump of 6'3'' tied the school record. Malone competed in four events during the track season (best results in parenthesis): 100m dash (11.99), 200m dash (26.79), 400m dash (59.10) and the high jump (6'3''). ...

The EPC Lady Warriors capped off a great 2019 softball season with a run in the Class 2A state softball tournament getting beat 4-2 in the semi-finals by eventual state champions Quitman.
