Brayden Duffel of Harrisburg played in the Cal Ripken 9U state tournament this past weekend in Paragould.

Mallory Hartley of Bay earned Class 1A all-state honors in softball this past season for the Lady Yellowjackets. Hartley adds this honor to her all-state basketball selection earlier this year. Splitting time at catcher and shortstop Hartley finished the season with a .879 fielding percentage. ...

Harrisburg's Zach Biggers was recently selected to the Class 4A all-state for the 2018 high school baseball season. Biggers was a force at the plate and on the mound for the Hornets. Biggers batted .311 on the year collecting 15 hits, 11 runs scored and four stolen bases while only striking out six times. ...
