The Lepanto City Council approved purchasing a new security/alarm system for the Water Department Tuesday night. Mayor Dale Dunlap told the council that the system was needed after they had problems with the current system. Installation of the new system is $5,000, but the mayor said it does a lot more than the current system does, and after installation it will be $300 a year, which is what the city is paying now...
