Trumann's Ben Turner was selected for the Class 4A all-state basketball after a stellar sophomore season for the Wildcats. Turner averaged 19 points, seven rebound and four assists this past season as he also garnered all-conference honors. Turner also helped lead the Wildcats to the George Kell Classic title being named MVP of the tournament. ...

Freshman Kloey Harlson of Harrisburg made it look easy on the mound this past Tuesday as she pitched a no-hitter against Manila as the Lady Hornets took a 5-0 win in Manila. Harlson retired the side in order in the top of the first inning with a ground and two strikeouts. ...
