ASU honors former players

Arkansas State honored several former basketball players at halftime of the men's game this past Saturday. Among those honored were Trumann's Mike Dungan and Max Smallwood. Dungan played at ASU from 1962-1964 as Smallwood played at ASU from 1951-1954. (DT Photos/Anthony Cossey)

Bay jumped out to a 28-7 lead after the first quarter before cruising to a 58-26 win over Ridgefield Christian School (RCS) this past Wednesday in the semi-finals of the 1A-3 district tournament at Armorel. Bay jumped out to a 14-0 lead as Sarah Blackman canned a three-pointer, Kaylee Crain scored inside, Blackman hit one of two free throws, canned another three-ball and netted a jumper before Mallory Hartley converted an old-school three-point play. ...
