The Trumann Lady Wildcats (2-18, 1-8) were swept by the Brookland Lady Bearcats, 14-25, 13-25, 5-25, this past Tuesday in volleyball action in Brookland. Harrisburg (10-5, 5-2) won all three sets, 25-17, 25-18, 25-13, to pick up conference win over Cave City this past Monday in high school volleyball action. Emily Newcomb led the Lady Horents with 24 assists and 13 digs while going 19-21 serving with seven service aces. Olivia Deckelman was 12-14 serving with 5 service aces and eight kills, Jehlian Wright had seven kills, Madison Peden and Destany Lovell each had six kills as Shaw Faulkner had 10 digs...

Trumann (3-2, 0-2) was outscored 22-8 in the second half as the Junior Warriors beat the Junior Wildcats 38-24 in junior high football action last Thursday at Wildcat Stadium. The Junior Wildcats took the early lead after taking the opening kick-off and marching 53 yards to score on a Gaven Guy nine yard run with 2:51 left in the opening quarter. ...
