The Harrisburg Lady Hornets (17-8) came back from an early 2-0 deficit before using a six run sixth inning to take an 11-5 lead before beating Cave City by the same score in opening round play of the 4A-3 district tournament in Cave City. Harrisburg came back Friday to beat Pocahontas 15-10 in the semi-finals before getting a 13-12 walk-off win over Trumann in the finals...

Bay (8-11) could only produce one run against Armorel as they lost 6-1 in the finals of the 1A-3 East district tournament this past Monday in Bay. Bay beat Rector 11-5 in the first game of the day to reach the championship game. Jessie Martin struck out looking to lead off the game for Bay as Sophia Rottinghaus followed by striking out. ...

Bay (19-4) scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh, the winning run on a walk-off walk by Nolan Smith, to take a 4-3 win over Armorel to win the 1A-3 East district title this past Friday in Bay. The Yellowjackets posted an 11-1 win over Ridgefield Christian School (RCS) in one semi-final game earlier in the day on Friday...

EPC (9-15) held a 4-0 lead through four innings only to see the Greyhounds scored five runs over the fifth and sixth innings to take a 5-4 win over the Warriors in 2A-2 district tournament action this past Friday in Marked Tree. The Warriors played again later in the day in the third place game losing 22-11 to Salem to finish with a fourth-seed headed to the regional tournament...

EPC (20-7) kept it close until a three run Salem sixth was to much to overcome as the Lady Warriors lost 8-3 to the Lady Greyhounds in one semi-final game of the 2A-2 district tournament last Thursday at Marked Tree. EPC opened the tournament with a 7-2 win over Flippin and took a 11-10 walk-off win over Cotter to get the third seed for the regional tournament...

Harrisburg (17-8) finished as runner up in the 4A-3 district tournament as the lost 10-0 to Westside in the finals. The Hornets, who set a new school record for wins in a season, got to the finals with a 2-1 win over Highland on Jaxson Hawkins' walk-off single. ...
