TRUMANN - Mrs. Eula Rivers Moss departed this life on Monday, September 19, 2016 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 87. She was born Friday, August 30, 1929 in Ardmore, Ala., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann, Ark. Mrs. Moss was a housewife and a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Simpson and John Moss, Jr.; one daughter; two sons, and her parents, Travis and Carrie Morand Hastings...

The NEA Pro Rodeo concluded it's two-night event this past Saturday with a night packed full of action. A good crowd was on hand to see who came on top in eight categories. Harrisburg handed Westside their first loss of the season with a 25-15, 25-14, 25-22 three game sweep last Thursday in Harrisburg. Olivia Deckelman led the Lady Hornets with 11 blocks, 11 digs and six kills. Emily Newcomb was nine of eleven serving with 12 assists and four blocks as Lacey Lambright finished with 11 digs and Destany Lovell had five blocks. ...
