The Trumann community gathered at the American Legion Memorial Park Monday for Memorial Day to remember those men and women who sacrificed their lives for this country. Ron Taylor, with American Legion Post 42, served as Master of Ceremonies. American Legion chaplain Gary Hill said the opening prayer, and Johnny Rye sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America."...

Sharon Turman was the guest speaker of the Trumann Lions Club last Wednesday, and she gave the group an update about what's been going on and what's coming up at the Miracle League Park in Jonesboro. "I see a lot of old faces and old friends with some new faces mixed in. I really miss you guys," Turman said in opening. "The Miracle League Park was a God thing from the beginning."...
