The Trumann City Council's monthly meeting was a lengthy one as there were several new business items on the agenda. During department head reports, Fire Chief Revis Kemper told the council work done on Engine 2 that was long overdue. It's been a year since Carver Gym was closed following the Marked Tree City Council's meeting there last April.
