BLACK OAK -- Maxine Branch Rye, 85, of the Black Oak community went to be with the Lord Monday, Feb. 9, 2015. She was born March 5, 1929, to Ernie and Armetha Branch. She and Johnny Rye were married Aug. 6, 1946. They owned Johnny Rye Grocery Store in Black Oak for 51 years. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Church of God in Marked Tree...
