Sunken Lands Chamber to look into working with volunteer group handling Dyess tourists

During the Sunken Lands Chamber of Commerce's monthly September meeting, chamber members discussed the idea of heading up a group of volunteers that works with tourists visiting the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home in Dyess. Dyess Mayor Larry Sims said a group of volunteers were handling food and entertainment for tourist groups who request it ahead of time, but the city is not allowed legally to be part of the project. ...

Work progressing on memorial park in Trumann

Work on Trumann's Fallen Heroes Memorial Park is nearing completion.
