Marked Tree Council approves grant application change order

During a short meeting Monday night, the Marked Tree City Council approved a change order required for an airport grant. Wayne Hendrix, Director of Public Works, explained the grant is for airport lights which show up six miles away. City Clerk Pam Wright said she was informed a leer jet would need to test the system before they could use it, which would run $12-15,000, and a change order would need to be written for the grant which the city was approved for. ...
