Locally, Bob Cantrell won the Democratic nomination for County Judge in the primary election with 56% of the vote and Randy Jones won District 1 Justice of the Peace with 63% of the vote. According to the unofficial results from County Clerk Fonda Condra's office, Cantrell beat both Kevin Caldwell and Wade Lamb with 676 votes to Caldwell's 297 and Lamb's 233.
