Trumann's Junior Wildcats (1-0) opened their 2013 football season with a 14-6 win at Hoxie. Dwalin Woods led Trumann with 105 yards rushing with a touchdown and two-point conversion. Cade Gartman chipped in 42 yards rushing and a touchdown. Preston Heavener and Coty Buckner sacked Hoxie's quarterback to end the game. Jeremiah Allred and Chase Cook each had a fumble recovery...

Junior high football season cranked up this past Thursday night as the Harrisburg Junior Hornets hosted the Junior Warriors from Westside.
