Trumann's Lady Wildcats (1-2, 1-0 4A-Northeast) came back from being down two games to one by winning the last to games to beat Highland 20-25, 27-25, 17-25, 25-19 and 15-12 to win their first match of the year. Neely Blagg led the way for the Trumann with 10 kills on the night. Alli Victory recored seven kills and had 10 digs, Macey Davis finished with 19 assists while Ashton Parker has 10 assists...

Trumann hosted a high school football jamboree last Friday at Wildcat Field. Marked Tree, Hazen, Corning and Trumann each participated in the jamboree.

The Arkansas State Red Wolves and University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff (UAPB) Lions met for the first time ever this past Saturday at Liberty Bank Stadium in Jonesboro.
