The Bay Lady Yellowjackets (16-7, 6-2 1A-3) hosted the Black Rock Lady Zebras in a girls' 1A-3 conference game last Thursday night. Bay jumped out a 26-10 first period lead and never looked back as they rolled to a 74-39 victory. Lady Indians fall in furious finish (High School Sports ~ 01/25/13)
For the first three periods of the game featuring the Marked Tree Lady Indians and Riverside Lady Rebels, you could not have asked for a better game. Back and forth scoring and good all around play. Marked Tree led 12-10 after one and the game was tied 26-26 at half and 41-41 at the end of three. The final period was totally different. The Parkin Archeological State Park celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr., Day by playing many of his speeches in the Northern Ohio Schoolhouse on Monday, Jan. 21.
