Jordan Harper won five individual medals and Arkansas State's Sports Shooting Club's Red Squad captured the overall team championship at the Red Wolf Shootout trapshooting competition last weekend at the Harrisburg Trapshooting Club. Harper, a student from Harrisburg, picked up wins in the American Singles Trap (200), the Doubles (25 pairs), the overall individual winner's medal, an award as part of the ASU team 200 Singles, and an award as part of the overall team victory...

Basketball season opened in Trumann this past Monday night as the Harrisburg Lady Hornets visited the Trumann Lady Wildcats. The Lady Hornets got the early lead and never gave it up on their way to a 32-23 victory. Morgan Taylor opened the scoring in the game as she hit one of two free throws to give Trumann the early 1-0 lead with 6:54 left in the opening period. ...
