The Trumann Junior Wildcats got their first win of the season last Thursday night in Cave City. The Junior Wildcats came back after being down 18-6 at halftime to post a 20-18 victory. Trey Moody led the way for Trumann rushing for 131 yards and touchdown to go along with 68 yards receiving and a touchdown. Dwalin Woods had 27 yards rushing and a touchdown. The EPC Junior Warriors hosted their neighbors from down the road as the Marked Tree Junior Indians came to town for EPC's final game of the season. The Junior Warriors jumped out early, withstood a Marked Tree comeback, before posting a 38-22 victory to finish 6-2 on the season...

EPC continued their winning Friday night at Augusta as they ran their record to 8-0 with a 50-8 win. The win, along with Salem's win, sets up a showdown of undefeated teams in Lepanto Friday night. Trumann travelled to Brookland this past Friday to take on the Bearcats in high school football action. After a close game in the first half, Brookland scored 28 points in the second half to take a 35-19 win. Cameron Wright received the opening kickoff and returned it out to the Trumann 25-yard line where the Wildcats started their first possession. ...
