Trumann hosted Valley View this past Friday in high school football action. The Blazers torched the Wildcats 55-14 to drop Trumann to 0-7 on the season. Josh Evans led Trumann offensively rushing for 107 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns. Cameron Wright added 88 yards on 12 carries. Evans and Wright both recorded eight tackles each on defense. Evans forced a fumble and had a fumble recovery on the night. Trumann will travel to Brookland for their game this Friday. Marked Tree reported no score or stats to paper. EPC cruises in homecoming win (High School Sports ~ 10/18/12)
The EPC Warriors wasted little time putting this game out of reach as they improved to 7-0 with a 48-6 win over Cedar Ridge on homecoming night in Lepanto. The Harrisburg Junior Hornets hosted the Piggott Junior Mohawks in junior high football action last Thursday. Piggott scored with just over a minute left go up 28-20. Harrisburg's defense was unable to stop the two-point conversion thus ending a chance for a tying score as Piggott claimed a 30-20 victory... -

Malik Monk scored five touchdowns to help EPC defeat Salem 44-14 in junior high football action last Thursday in Salem. EPC improved to 5-2 on the season. Monk had 103 yards rushing on two carriers with two touchdowns, caught four passes for 34 yards with two touchdowns and intercepted a pass and returned it for 85 yards for a touchdown. ...
