Junior high football results (High School Sports ~ 10/05/12)
The EPC Junior Warriors beat the ?? 36-8 in a game that was called in the third quarter due to lightning. Clay Malone and Malik Monk hooked up for three touchdown passes. Monk added another touchdown on the ground. Kyler Gordon scored a rushing touchdown as Austin Smith and Chanc Gray caught two-point passes and Malone ran in a two-point conversion. Monk, Malone and Dee Lauderdale each had an interception as Monk and Gordon recorded six tackles each. The Harrisburg Junior Hornets held on for a 14-7 win over the Manila Junior Lions this past Thursday night. Connor Haag scored both touchdowns for Harrisburg. Dillon Russell score on a two-point play for the Junior Hornets. Walker Hammond forced a fumble and returned it 20 yards to set up the winning touchdown. Russell had four big tackles in the fourth quarter to help preserve the victory. Russell finished with six and a half tackles while Marvin Bell had five tackles. Marked Tree reported no score or stats from their game. -
