The Northeast Arkansas Youth Football League jamboree will be held this Saturday in Cedar Ridge in Newark. All teams, one consisting of sixth grade and one consisting of fourth and fifth grades, will play 20 minute games. Meet the Coaches: EPC Warriors

This week in our third of a series of four, we meet the coaches at East Poinsett County High School. Brian Weathers will coach both the senior high and junior high football teams this season. Weathers, normally just the senior high coach, takes on the junior high duties this year due that position becoming vacant to late to hire a new coach. Weathers begins his 11th year in coaching and 9th at EPC, 4th as the head coach. Weathers graduated from EPC in 1995 with honors while earning all-state in baseball and football. Weathers attended Christian Brother's University where he earned his Bachelor's degree. He earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from William Woods University and will earn his Specialist Degree in the same subject from there in May. Weathers coaching staff will consist of Bobby Lewallen, Kyle Rowland and Allen Hall (Sr. High only). Weathers and his wife Payton have a five-year old daughter, Gabby. Weathers also has three step-sons, Ty, Carson and Cayne Tyler.
