Many residents of Marked Tree showed up for the Marked Tree Fire Department's chili supper last week. City Clerk Pam Wright said the money donated during the fundraiser will go toward a much-needed new stove, as well as a new refrigerator and kitchen utensils for the fire department. "We've had a lot of donations," Wright said. "I think we'll make it on this fundraiser alone. We're very proud of our firefighters."
