TRUMANN - Mrs. Lawanda Jean "Bootsie" Murphy, 76, of Trumann died Friday, October 29, 2010 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

JONESBORO -- Mr. Jerald "Lynn" Vinson, 40, of Jonesboro, died Friday, October 22, 2010 in Bloomfield, MI.

TRUMANN-Mr. James Robert Hulsey II, 22, died Friday, October 22, 2010 in Trumann, Ark.

TRUMANN - Mr. Charles Rayburn Gosa, 63, of Trumann, died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Trumann Health and Rehab.

A complete team effort earned the Trumann Wildcats a victory Friday over the Osceola Seminoles, 31-22.

The annual Trumann Lions Club Bar-B-Q began over 30 years ago after a member saw just exactly what their club could do and wanted to provide more help.

There were several races in Poinsett County decided in Tuesday's general election.

Poinsett County had a 53-percent voter turnout on for the Nov. 2, general election. "A 53-percent voter turnout is a great turnout," said Fonda Condra, Poinsett County Clerk. "The big thing was our local races with mayoral elections in Lepanto, Marked Tree, Trumann and Harrisburg. They were all eager to win and had great turnout."...
