American Legion plans to save Boy Scout Hut

Plans are underway to save Trumann's old Boy Scout Hut on the corner of Maple and Poinsett Streets. The hut, built by employees of the local Singer Company for the scouts and donated to them in the late 1940's, has fallen into disrepair over the last several years, according to Ron Taylor, Commander of Trumann American Legion Post No. 42, owners of the building....
