Trial set for 16-year-old Trumann teen

Khyle Desmedt will be facing trial next week for charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault. The charges stem from an incident last November when the 16 year old allegedly shot William Lytle, 22, of Trumann. The incident occurred on Elm Street where officers said Lytle was shot in the groin with a rifle. According to police reports, Desmedt also threatened two other individuals with the rifle before discharging the weapon and shooting the victim...
