Trumann police raid meth labs

Trumann Police were busy last week as they raided two suspected meth labs in town and arrested five people who were involved with the manufacture of methamphetamines. Thursday afternoon police took two people into custody on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use, manufacturing methamphetamine, endangering the welfare of a minor -- age 14, exposing a child to a chemical substance, manufacturing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a church and public housing, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, over possession of pseudo ephedrine and criminal intent to manufacture methamphetamine.. ...

Greg Shauver, #24 Viva Drive, was arrested on Jan. 9 by Sgt. Erik Willbanks, Sgt. Jonathan Skaggs and Ptl. Kevin Holt. He was charged with domestic abuse battery III, second offense. Cats can't buy a basket in 65-43 loss to Westside

"It was our worst shooting night of the year," said coach Skip Dulaney of his Wildcats 65-43 loss at Westside last Friday night. "We didn't have a basket in the first quarter." Trumann did score in the first quarter, but only on free throws as the Warriors outscored the Cats 22-4 to make the rest of the game a matter of trying to recover. Unfortunately, Trumann never did as they won only the final period 13-5 when the game was already far too gone...
