A Trumann man was killed Sunday evening when he was struck by a train in an apart suicide. According to reports Ronnie Howard, 126 Betty, left his residence on Betty and told his father he wouldn't be back, he was going to kill himself. Witness say they saw him walk onto the tracks on Ozark and lay down on the rails...

Born in Elm Grove she had lived in Trumann for the past 87 years and was formerly of New Mexico. She was a retired teacher for the Trumann Public Schools, worked for the Trumann Museum for 17 years, was a member of the Ladies 70 & Up Sunday School Class, Maple Grove Extension Homemakers Club, Arkansas Retired Teachers and a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church...

Mr. Michael Shane McDaniel, 40 of Trumann, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at the family residence. He was born in Jonesboro and had lived his lifetime in Trumann. He was a truck driver and a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann. Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, Tracy Janell McDaniel of the home; two daughters, Shai LeAnn McDaniel and Megan LaRhea McDaniel both of the home; his parents, Lamar and Linda Sue McDaniel of Trumann; his grandparents, Mildred and X.L. ...
