Council committee nominates Eddie Crain to fill Ward 3 alderman position

Members of a special city council committee voted unanimously last Thursday night to nominate former Councilman Eddie Crain to fill the Ward 3 seat currently empty on the Trumann City Council. The council's Nominating Committee met with Mayor Sheila Walters last week at City Hall to discuss filling the seat formerly held by Scotty Jones who resigned rather than fight a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of a city employee serving on the city council. ...
