Tyronza to vote on sales tax

Tribune Editor Tyronza citizens are being asked to head to the polls Tuesday to vote for a one-cent sales tax. The vote, which is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 14, is the first of it's kind in Tyronza, which currently has no city sales tax in place. "As far as I know this is the first time a sales tax has ever been up for a vote before the citizens," Mayor Marion Bearden said. "This is the first time they ever needed it."...
