Dr. Charles Glenn Swingle, formerly of Marked Tree, died July 21, 2007 in Heber Springs. He was born in Memphis, Tenn. on October 13, 1927, the son of Charles Glenn Swingle, Sr.. of Rock Island, Ill.. If you haven't heard, Mike Coolbaugh, a coach for the Colorado Rockies, was struck in the head with a line-drive ball hit by Tino Sanchez of the Arkansas Travelers.
