Former Lepanto Mayor, Dale Dunlap, was honored with a reception held in his honor last Tuesday, Jan. 9, by the The Lepanto Area Citizens For Progress committee meeting held at the Painted House. LACFP president Jerald Burns and Board of Director Kaye Robertson presented Dunlap with a certificate of appreciation for his help in acquiring the house used in the filming of "A Painted House" in Lepanto four years ago, and for his continued support in developing the house as a permanent tourist attraction for the city.. ...

Lady Warriors demolish lady Hornets, Mowhaks
