Mrs. Claudine Odom, 82, of Bay died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 at her daughter's home in Jonesboro. She was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of her lifetime in the Bay and Trumann area. Mrs. Odom was a homemaker of the Baptist belief. Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Moody of Trumann, Debbie Snyder of Jonesboro, Pat Gibson and Betty Barnes both of West Memphis; three sons, Charles Odom of Bay, James Odom of Trumann, and Donnie Odom of Proctor; two sisters, Vera Corley of Dade City, Fl., and Freda Duncan of Plant City, Fl.; 27 Grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.. ...

Every year the girls of the 1960 graduating class of Bay High School got together for an all day of fun. They met at Bay on the first Saturday of October for the Bay Harvest Festtival. They rode in the parade, then checked out all of the booths and exhibits and visited with old friends they hadn't seen in years. The fifty year reunion of the Trumann High School Class of 1956 was a real success. The planning committee believes their labor of love was well worth the effort. Activities kicked off Friday evening with a tailgate party at the Old Community Center. The school provided a bus so all the classmates could ride to the Homecoming game together.
