Lounez Poskey, 77, of Lepanto died Friday, July 28, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis. She was a member of the Lepanto First Baptist Church and a retired owner and operator of a restaurant in Marked Tree. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Cockrell, and a daughter Catherine Linton...

Tribune Sports Staff For the second year in a row, Arnold Crow and Bill Gill of Tyronza competed in the World Horseshoe Pitching Championship. This year's contest took place in Gillette, Wyo. and involved 904 entrants. Crow finished with a 12-5 record giving him a 46.03 average which was good enough for a second place finish and a $200. prize. Gill won third place with an 11-5 record resulting in a 44.69 average and a cash prize of $150. Both competed in the Senior Men's Division, Class C...

Three Rivers Country Club in Marked Tree held its annual Grady Watkins Memorial golf tournament this past weekend. There were 42 teams that participated in the event. We would like to thank all those participants for their support in making this a huge success...
