VA providing van service

The VA is providing a van to shuttle veterans to the VA hospital in Memphis twice a week. Veterans who need a ride to Memphis can catch the van every Tuesday and Thursday mornings and returns that afternoon. Pickup times are 6:45 a.m. at the Shell Gas, located near the 69 bypass in Trumann. Those riding the van are allowed to park on the north of the building next to Highway 69...

Paul Keith for the felony charge of possession of controlled substance (crystal meth) with intent to deliver. Parade route changed

The Trumann Christmas parade is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5. The rain date is scheduled for Dec. 12. All entries need to be lined up in the old Wal-Mart parking lot by 1:15 p.m. The parade route has been changed for this year's parade. It will begin at the old Wal-Mart on Hwy 463, proceed south to the second light at the intersection at Main, turn east onto Main then turn onto Pine and end in the high school parking lot...
